Why did you decide to start this business? 

Originally, to get away from the corporate chains and be my own boss, to treat customers like people and not a number.

How has business been so far? 

Business has been good, so far.

What makes your business different?

We are locally owned, you don't have to wait a hour to get your prescription, customers are treated like they want to be here.

What were you doing before you started this business?

Before I started my business, I worked relief in the area.

Tell us a bit about you, where are you originally from?

My wife and I are originally from Phillips, TX.

Tell us something you want others to know about Dennis Roark the person, not the business person? 

I enjoy doing things with my family and the grand kids.  I would rather play golf than work.

What are your thoughts on shopping locally?

Local business is the back bone of our town. It is important for people to trade locally whenever possible. (I don't mean shopping at chains) You don't see chains donating to optimist club events or school events, etc.

What's one way you think Pampa could help its local businesses?

By continuing to promote local businesses.

Why did you decide to start this business? 

Actually my father started this business in 1959, he really liked dealing with cars. He was a really good sales man.

How has business been so far? 

Over the last 21 years I feel we have been blessed. Overall we have been very lucky, sales have been good.

What makes your business different?

We finance and house newer cars and trucks.

What were you doing before you started this business?

Before I started here, I worked in Borger at crown supply for 10 years. They were really good to me.

Tell us a bit about you, where are you originally from?

I was born and raised in Pampa. Have been married for 34 years. I also have one son and three daughters.

Tell us something you want others to know about Greg Boyd the person, not the business person. 

I feel very fortunate to have a wonderful wife and four beautiful children. I love my family very much.

What are your thoughts on shopping locally?

I would like to sell to everyone, but if I can't at lease buy it in Pampa.

What's one way you think Pampa could help its local businesses?

Pampa could help by lowering property taxes.

Why did you decide to start this business? 

We had movie theater in Colorado and it got shutdown, we went with out a movie theater for quite a while and everyone was really upset about it.  So we decided to open it back up. We now own one in Colorado, Oklahoma, and here in Pampa.

How has business been so far? 

Business has been really good. When the oil field went down it started getting slow, but not to bad. It's been steadily increasing.

What makes your business different?

It's in a small town, the atmosphere is good here. Everyone here can enjoy themselves.

Tell us a bit about you, where are you originally from?

I was born and raised in Springfield, Colorado. We moved to Pampa about 10 years ago.

What were you doing before you started this business?

Before I started the movie theaters, me and my brother owned a body shop in Springfield, we painted cars. Now my brother owns it.

Tell us something you want others to know about Jason Scott the person, not the business person. 

On my spare time I spend time playing with my kids. I have four boys, one of them already graduated from high school, the others are still in elementary and junior high.  I just love spending time with them, we have a blast.

What are your thoughts on shopping locally?

Business have mostly everything we need, stores keep more items in stock then people realize. Shopping locally can help expand businesses here in Pampa. The more people help the better.

What's one way you think Pampa could help its local businesses?

I feel that every one should check the stores here before going anywhere else. Some people will hop in their cars to go buy a TV in Amarillo, before even considering to check what they have here. I buy everything here, I won't go anywhere else unless I absolutely need to.
