Why did you decide to start this business?
It's been the family profession for 2 generations. It was a great opportunity since we saw that Pampa didn't have a bakery.
How has business been so far?
Some days are slow, some days are good. But over all, it's been very good.
What makes your business different?
Our food doesn't have preservatives, it's made fresh daily, and it is also authentic.
Tell us a bit about you, where are you originally from?
Our family is originally from Mexico, but we lived in California for over 20 years.
What were you doing before you started this business?
Lived in California working for other restaurants and markets.
Tell us something you want others to know about Raul Mejia the person, not the business person.
Well, pretty easy to talk to, and achieving goals is a priority.
What are your thoughts on shopping locally?
It's definitely a must. Shop locally so we can support each other to better things.
What's one way you think Pampa could help its local businesses?
A little more advertising and more signs around town.

1st Annual “Dine United” Banquet
Pampa United Way is presenting the movie “When the Game Stands Tall” with special speaker who is legendary in the football world, Coach Bob Ladouceur. A diner will be held on August 27th at the M.K. Brown Auditorium 7-9 pm. You can buy the tickets at Pampa United Way & Pampa Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are $40.00 apiece. To watch the movie will be free to everyone to watch. This will be the 1st Annual “Dine United” Banquet for our 2016 campaign.

If you would like to help sponsor this event go to Pampa United Way to see how you or your business could help. By sponsoring and decorating a table you will be showing the community your support for Pampa United Way. The cost of sponsoring a table is $50.00, the tables are 6ft round and can seat up to 8 people. The center pieces for the table are going to be used as “table prizes”, take a business card marked as the winner and put it under one of the place settings. Your center pieces have to be 12” tall or less. Don’t use balloons, confetti, or live animals.
